20 Things You Didn't Know About Me
My friend Amanda did this on her blog and I’m totally stealing it because it’s always funny what people assume about you before they actually know you, isn’t it? In my case most people are way off which I chalk up to me being an introvert. In an effort to let you all in a little (or possibly confuse you further) here are 20 things you might not know about me.
I grew up with all girls. My mom, sister and me. Rom-coms constantly, stealing each others clothes, and pants were always optional
I met my husband when I was 12. And pretty much loved him ever since.
I met my dad when I was 15. Kind of on accident. We’re pretty much identical so I knew it was him right away!
I was a cheerleader (This one always gets a laugh because I’m so not that type)
Before I was vegan a hamburger was my favorite meal
My degree is in Graphic Design and Illustration
I LOVE dancing. It’s probably one of my favorite things in life.
I play the autoharp
I’m a scuba diver and my dream of being a mermaid was made when I got to swim alone in the middle of a school of yellow fish deep in the ocean off Thailand.
My wedding ring is wooden
I have two babies in heaven
I wanted to name our son Ocean (& a plethora of other nature names) which Trenton quickly vetoed
I never met my grandmother on my dad’s side but I look just like her and have some of her old instruments. The first song I ever played for my dad turned out to be one she used to sing all the time.
I bought my car off Ebay and I’ve had it since I was 17
I love animals. I took a speech class in college and every speech was about saving some endangered animal.
I love hats and have way too many. I’m eyeing another right now that I want so bad! If you follow me on instagram this isn’t new news.
I was in active labor with Leo for more than a day
My wedding dress was $100. A friend made it for me out of fabric I picked out at Joann’s
So far my favorite place in the world is Greece. I would live and die happy on one of those white washed islands, riding a donkey everywhere.
My favorite things to spend money on (after traveling) are beautiful books.
